Saturday March 12th we dusted off the cobwebs and took
Light Up out to Rooters in Waukesha for the final club
performance of the season. We, as well as most of the
other gigging bands on Saturday, weren't sure how our crowd
would be with Motley Crue being a few miles down the road.
We were pleasantly surprised to see a great turnout and many of
the usual rock crowd started to pile in as the doors opened.
(Motley Crue kicked a** in Chicago on Thursday for the record!)
We had a great time and saw many of the faces that usually
don't appear until the summer festival season.
Speaking of summer, we are en route to being our busiest
one ever and we, as well as most of you, are really looking
forward to being outdoors without 40 pounds of clothing to keep
warm.
In my last diary I mentioned our partnership with our
friends in Cherry Pie. We are putting the finishing
touches on a dual billing show for early June. More
details will be made available as they are finalized.
On March 26th, Rhythm Method will make our debut at Badger
Bowl in Madison. It's a new room for us and would like to
make a great first impression so come out and lend a hand if you
don't mind the drive.
