Saturday November 13th was our
first gig back after a much needed 6 week break. After a hectic
summer, we all needed time away to recharge. Some things have
changed in the RM/LU family and if you were present at Rooters
on the 13th you saw the biggest one. Cary our bass
player and big brother has decided to end his tenure with the
band. See the full details on the home page.
In his place we’ve added Ray’s brother Craig on bass
guitar. Not only a great bass player and talented recording
engineer, Craig bares a striking resemblance to Lorenzo Lamas ,
the actor who played on the TV show "Renegade” which many
of the ladies at Rooters found rather appealing. We shall deem
him….The Renegade….or Evil Renegade for those on the inside.
Saturdays show at Rooters went pretty well
with all things considered. A six week break , a new member,
Dave covering Cary’s vocal parts, and Bob suffering from Strep
throat. I personally must have somehow made Murphy angry because
his law was in full force taking down my guitar rig several
times for unknown reasons.
This weekend we’ll be back out in Wind
Lake at Kelly’s Bleachers for the first time since last
spring, so please come out and help us fill this gigantic room
