Background:
Similar
to Bob, my father was a local guitar player/singer, my late grandfather played
stand up bass, have numerous uncles who are bass players/ vocalists.
I think I started playing around the age of 8. Got my first electric
guitar at age 11, a Les Paul Custom that I would give my right foot to have
today. Played in many basement bands that never seemed to find suitable bass
players or singers. Took lessons
from several local teachers including former RM guitar player Tony.

I’ll always remember: LU
@ Watertown Riverfest 2002. Estimated between 7,500 and 10,000 people going
crazy, signing tons of merchandise and body parts...then going to work on
Monday. Gig
I'd like to forget: With
RM/LU, none that I remember. There have been a few choice "trips to the What annoys you: Out of tune guitars, feedback, drivers who wont let you pass, rap music, Kurt Cobain being regarded as a "great songwriter" while bands like "Jellyfish" and "Kings X" go virtually unnoticed, locked up computers, frozen door locks, snowplow drivers who push snow right back to the driveway you've just cleaned in front of, procrastination, people who have trouble making decisions, dishonesty, and Elmo. |
